Accountant

Job Title: Finance Officer / Accountant

We’re looking for a sharp, reliable finance professional to join our team and take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations. You’ll be responsible for keeping our financial records accurate and up to date, reporting directly to the CFO.

You’ll work across our group of companies in the hospitality and property sectors, managing core finance tasks while supporting strategic decision-making with reliable data and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Maintain accurate records for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with tax filings and audit preparations
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
• Help implement better internal controls and financial procedures
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and local regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (we use Xero)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced team
• Good communicator, with clear written and verbal skills
