Our client, a pharmaceutical company is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their team.
The main responsibilities include:
- Maintaining financial controls, conducting financial and cost analysis.
- Preparing monthly management accounts and group reports, and coordinating with external auditors.
- Monitoring expenditure against the budget to ensure appropriate internal controls.
- Managing VAT and tax-related matters to ensure legal compliance.
- Overseeing the administration, invoicing, and payment functions.
- Good knowledge of the Maltese Local taxation legislations especially VAT
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Previous experience with SAP will be considered an Asset
- An ACCA qualification or equivalent
