Accountant

Our client, a pharmaceutical company is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their team.

The main responsibilities include:

• Maintaining financial controls, conducting financial and cost analysis.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and group reports, and coordinating with external auditors.
• Monitoring expenditure against the budget to ensure appropriate internal controls.
• Managing VAT and tax-related matters to ensure legal compliance.
• Overseeing the administration, invoicing, and payment functions.

• Good knowledge of the Maltese Local taxation legislations especially VAT
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Previous experience with SAP will be considered an Asset

• An ACCA qualification or equivalent
