Accountant

An International group of companies is currently on the lookout for an Accountant to join their growing team 

Duties include: 

• Review group reporting packs received from local and foreign subsidiaries  
• Handle various tasks related to the group consolidation  
• Assist in the compilation of consolidated Financial Statements  
• Support during interim and annual external audits for selected companies  
• Provide guidance to other members of the finance team on certain technical issues  
• Provide overall support on an ad hoc basis with regards to due diligence exercises and any other reports that may be required from time to time  
• Undertake one off assignments supporting subsidiary accounting departments as necessary 
• Manage and oversee the reconciliation of intra group balances across the various subsidiaries by reviewing and following up on these reconciliations quarterly with the various subsidiaries’ Finance teams  
• Perform any other duties that may be required from time to time. 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting function
• Is highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• Auditing experience and knowledge of IFRSs would be considered an asset
