Accountant

Our client is looking to recruit an Accountant who will report directly to the Financial Controller, with the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Review of management accounts
• Preparation and analysis of monthly performance
• Calculation of accruals and preparation of journals
• Assisting with cash flow forecasts and budgeting
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Liaising with company auditors
• Managing Finance Team and their respective day to day duties

• 2 to 3 years relevant local accounting experience
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Maltese

• Must be a fully qualified Accountant
