Job Description
Bad Boy Cleaning Services Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit an Accountant on a part-time basis. 

Job Role: 
The Accountant is a key position within the Management team of Bad Boy Cleaning Services Limited and the position reports directly to the Managing Director of the company. The role involves assuming a strategic role in the overall management of the company finances. The role requires the Accountant to take responsibility for the finance team and hence ensure day-to-day planning, implementation, management, and control of all financial-related activities of the company. The role, amongst others, entails direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting and budgeting, costing, preparation of final and management accounts, strategic planning, and financial regulatory compliance. 

The Accountant leads the finance and accounting functions of the organisation and the implementation of the mutually agreed finance strategy in line with the other cross-functional managers to achieve the company’s long-term objectives.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: 

• HR: Maintain a climate that attracts, retains, and motivates top-quality personnel. Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, promote and guide accounts clerks. The Accountant is also expected to establish and monitor progress against key performance indicators.
• Regulatory Requirements: Lead and coordinate the development of annual financial statements, the financial audit and ensure that all regulatory filings are posted in line with published deadlines. The Accountant shall also be responsible to ensure the company accurately and timely submits all tax documentation and payments to avoid any penalties.
• Finance Operations: Manage and oversee the Finance function of the company including the management of the financial reporting for the organisation, the cash flow, and all banking operations and borrowings. The Accountant is also responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems and overseeing commercial decision-making from margin analysis and pricing strategy. The Accountant might also be required to assist in the inputting of transactions and payments to suppliers when need.
• Reporting: The Accountant is responsible to effectively and clearly communicate to the Senior Management and Board of Directors potential financial risks relating to new and existing opportunities. The role also entails the preparation of management reports and performance analysis with proposed action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained.

Experience and Expertise:

• Be a qualified and warranted Accountant;
• 5+ years experience in a financial managerial position;
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial packages;
• Strong leadership and Organisational skills;
• Confident to present results to an audience;
• Strong and demonstrated strategic thinking skills and problem-solving;
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills;
• Exceptional time management and able to solve problems;
• In good knowledge of tax and finance laws;
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels;
• Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics, and dependability;
• Able to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
