Network & Systems Administrator

Our client, a leading organization in the financial sector, is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to join their dedicated IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, and maintenance of the company's ICT infrastructure, with a strong focus on network security and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed ICT infrastructure, including security systems.
• Deliver day-to-day ICT and desktop support via telephone, email, remotely, or on-site.
• Ensure the overall ICT and security infrastructure operates efficiently and according to strict quality and organizational security standards.
• Participate in the design and implementation of secure ICT infrastructure architectures.
• Assist in the development of a business continuity and disaster recovery plan, including backup and recovery procedures.
• Manage infrastructure and application backups and monitor the IT ticketing system.
• Mitigate ICT risks and assist in setting up mechanisms to neutralize threats.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Guide, train, and mentor junior staff members.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft environments (Active Directory, Server, Desktop, Office 365).
• Minimum of 2 years experience with Networks, systems & Firewalls

Education and Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Information and Communications Technology
• Experience with Cisco is a plus
• Knowledge of storage, backup, and hypervisor (VMware/Hyper-V) technologies
• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Windows PowerShell and Linux Bash.
