Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team. 

What you'll be doing

  • Support the management and maintenance of the Bank’s IT infrastructure (hardware, software, cloud, virtual environments, backups, and end-user devices).
  • Ensure high system availability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, configurations, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide 2nd-line support and assist with 1st-line incident resolution.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers on escalated issues.
  • Contribute to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and follow best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of working experience in IT infrastructure or administration
  • A strong understanding of Networks and Firewalls (ideally Cisco)
  • Strong understanding of Windows Servers & Active Directory
  • Experience with Cloud services, ideally Azure
  • An understanding of SQL Data bases, ideally Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of VM Ware and experience with Veeam is highly desirable

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in an IT field
