Commercial Divers

A leading marine services provider in Malta is currently expanding its commercial diving operations and is seeking Commercial Divers to join its team.

This is a hands-on role involving a wide range of professional diving and marine support operations, including hull cleaning, underwater inspections, and vessel support activities within harbour and offshore environments.

The role requires strong technical diving capability, discipline, and a strong commitment to safety standards while working as part of a professional marine operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional underwater hull cleaning for yachts and commercial vessels.
• Carry out hull cleaning operations inside and outside harbour areas.
• Conduct underwater inspections of hulls, propellers, rudders, anodes, sea chests, and related fittings.
• Assist with basic underwater photo and video documentation and reporting.
• Support marina, harbour, and mooring operations.
• Provide diving support for vessel maintenance and repair activities.
• Prepare, maintain, and safely use diving equipment in accordance with procedures.
• Support dive vessel operations and assist the marine operations team as required.

Requirements

• Recognised commercial diving qualification.
• Valid diving medical certificate.
• Previous experience in commercial diving operations.
• Strong safety awareness and disciplined working attitude.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in demanding marine environments.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work according to operational requirements, including weekends when required.
• Valid driving licence.

Advantageous Experience

• Professional hull cleaning experience.
• Harbour, marina, or vessel support operations.
• Boat handling experience.
• First aid and oxygen provider certification.
• Underwater photography or video reporting.
