Maintenance Technician

Our client is looking for a dependable and practical professional to become an integral part of their corporate estates division. Working under the guidance of the Estates Manager, you will protect the structural integrity, daily operational capabilities, and safety protocols of our corporate offices and residential properties throughout Malta. This position demands a flexible technician capable of handling routine upkeep alongside reactive fixes to maintain our spaces at premium operational standards.

Duties and Responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Execute a comprehensive array of property repairs, including circuitry, pipework, joinery, surface finishing, and general handyperson tasks.
• Address incoming facility work orders swiftly to troubleshoot and rectify building faults.
• Conduct systematic property inspections to spot potential failures and assist with preventative upkeep programs
• Oversee and guide external service contractors when specialized external support is brought on-site.
• Collaborate closely with fellow internal tradespeople to finish structural upgrades safely, on time, and up to regulatory codes.
• Keep the management team updated on the status of ongoing property repairs and material requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven background in a property care or facility trades role, featuring versatile mechanical and electrical capabilities
• Possession of an Electrical License A is an asset
• Experience with HVAC is also considered an asset
• Capacity to operate autonomously, manage a fluid daily task list, and demonstrate a forward-thinking mindset toward property defects
• Excellent English communication skills
• Possession of a current driver’s credentials and willingness to commute daily among local property locations
