Maintenance Technician

One of our clients in the food industry is looking for a maintenance technician who will be in charge of making sure that the day to day operations is smooth.

Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Contribute to the smooth execution of daily maintenance activities to meet evolving operational demands and performance benchmarks.
• Provide hands-on support in planning, tracking, and executing facility-related projects.
• Participate in departmental risk assessments to ensure all processes and tasks prioritize workplace safety.
• Proactively identify facility needs, troubleshoot emerging issues, and propose actionable solutions to leadership.

Requirements

• Technical certification is an asset
• Ability to communicate verbally and written in English
• Computer literate
• This role has the possibility of on calls, time flexibility is required

Education and Experience

• Previous experience as a maintenance technician is an asset
• Food Handling Certificate B is required
