Andrews Feeds (Malta) LTD, is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their team on a full-time basis. Interested candidates MUST have a valid Maltese work permit.

Responsibilities:

This position requires proficiency in multiple technical skills, such as electrical installations and control systems. 
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment in a feed manufacturing environment;
  • Identify modifications and upgrades of equipment;
  • Keep maintenance records updated and assist the Production Manager with keeping a stock of spare parts;
  • Assist and train operators with setting up of the machinery and promote safe working practices and ensures that safety protocols are observed.

Requirements:
  • Possess an appropriate Technical Diploma from MCAST or equivalent,
  • Possess an Electrical Authorisation ‘B’ as issued by REWS,
  • Possess a work permit that enables him to work in Malta,
  • Knowledge of MS Office to prepare reports,
  • Possess initiative and the ability to motivate and lead a team,
  • Prepared to undertake additional training as necessary.
