We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading and well established organisation in Malta, currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations across their properties.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing both in house teams and contracted services to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations at all times.

The Role

As Maintenance Manager, you will take full responsibility for planning, coordinating, and supervising all maintenance activities while maintaining the highest operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all in house and contracted maintenance works
  • Ensure smooth execution of scheduled and reactive maintenance activities
  • Adjust priorities and schedules based on operational needs
  • Provide clear direction and leadership to maintenance teams
  • Develop and implement structured maintenance plans and timelines
  • Report progress and operational impacts to senior management and department heads
  • Authorise purchase orders and approve invoices
  • Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Verify quality of materials and contractor work
  • Ensure proper functioning of all building systems and technical installations

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar Maintenance Manager role
  • Higher Technician Diploma level or equivalent technical qualification
  • Valid Local License A and B
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and ELV systems
  • Solid understanding of building maintenance best practices
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
