Maintenance Assistant

APM Holdings is seeking to recruit a reliable, proactive and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and maintenance of its luxury residential properties in Malta.

THE POSITION

The selected candidate will assist with the general upkeep of properties, including painting, plastering, and basic repairs, as well as following preventive maintenance checklists and maintaining workshop inventory.

Responsibilities include identifying and reporting maintenance issues promptly, supporting repair and upkeep activities, and working closely with the Maintenance Team to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently. The role requires a practical, hands-on approach, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail in carrying out day-to-day responsibilities.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry works. Experience in the use of hand and power tools is essential.

The successful candidate will have a basic level of spoken English, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently while managing their time effectively. A proactive attitude and a practical problem-solving approach are essential for this role.
