Furniture factory helper/Driver

This position involves assisting with the production, assembly, and packaging of furniture in a factory setting, as well as handling the transportation and delivery of finished products to customers. The ideal candidate is physically capable, reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with furniture assembly, sanding, staining, and finishing.

• Move raw materials and finished products within the facility.

• Help with packaging and loading furniture for transport.

• Keep the workshop clean and organised.

• Follow safety procedures and company policies.

• Assist skilled workers and machine operators as needed.

• Load, secure, and transport furniture to customer locations safely.

• Deliver products on schedule and in good condition.

• Communicate with customers courteously and professionally upon delivery.

• Obtain delivery confirmations and handle basic paperwork.

• Maintain a clean and presentable delivery vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license Cat C1.

• Experience in furniture moving or delivery is a plus.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Fluent knowledge of Maltese/English language.
