Construction Excavator Driver
We are looking for a skilled Construction Excavator Driver to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of excavators on various construction sites.
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to perform excavation tasks, including digging, grading, and trenching.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow site plans and specifications to complete excavation projects accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, including hours worked and materials used.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience operating excavators on construction sites.
- Valid excavator operator licence and relevant certifications.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate heavy machinery.
