Construction Drivers
We are looking for skilled Construction Drivers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient transportation of materials and equipment to various construction sites.
- Operate construction vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at construction sites.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Collaborate with site managers and team members to coordinate transportation needs and schedules.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with appropriate classifications for construction vehicles.
- Proven experience as a driver in the construction industry or a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to operate various types of construction machinery and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy loads when necessary.
