Chemist

Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a Chemist to join their team. Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Conduct analytical testing and investigations related to product quality and performance.
• Manage sampling, testing, verification, and performance trend analysis.
• Perform root-cause analysis on product failures, rejects, and customer complaints.
• Support troubleshooting of electrochemical and production-related issues in collaboration with manufacturing teams.
• Assist with the development and assembly of product prototypes, including sourcing of required materials.
• Evaluate prototype performance and support testing activities in collaboration with R&D teams.
• Ensure products are designed for efficient and scalable manufacturing.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support product approval, validation, and release documentation.
• Assist in the implementation and management of controlled product and process changes.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, REACH, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain laboratory procedures, SOPs, and process guidelines.
• Establish and manage laboratory resources to support analytical and testing needs.
• Oversee laboratory operations and ensure proper maintenance and functionality of equipment.
• Collaborate with technical and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Education and Experience

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is an asset.
