Duties and Responsibilities
Review and process warranty claims submitted by customers or dealers.
Verify the validity of claims based on warranty terms and conditions.
Assess product defects or issues, coordinate with technical teams, and determine appropriate solutions.
Ensure timely resolution of claims, including replacement, repair, or refund as per warranty policies.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding warranty issues and inquiries.
Provide clear and accurate information to customers about warranty coverage, procedures, and timelines.
Resolve customer complaints related to warranty claims and provide exceptional customer service.
Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, correspondence, and outcomes in the company’s database or management system.
Prepare and generate reports on warranty claims, trends, and analysis for management review.
Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to coordinate the replacement or return of defective products.
Analyse warranty claim data to identify patterns or recurring issues that may indicate product quality problems.
Ensure all warranty claims are processed in compliance with company policies and relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
Skills and Abilities
Good knowledge of dealer management system software (possibly Kerridge).
Knowledge of automotive dealership service departments.
Proficient at reading technician stories and applying appropriate labor codes.
