PHP Developer (Students Part Time)

Our client, a leading IT solutions provider in Malta, is seeking a student with PHP exposure:

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and modern MVC frameworks (e.g., Yii2, Laravel).
• Design and develop robust, scalable RESTful APIs and handle all aspects of backend logic.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, front-end developers, and other team members to ensure timely feature delivery.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other application issues.
• Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Support and work alongside QA and DevOps teams throughout the testing and deployment lifecycle.

Requirements

• Must be living and studying at the University of Malta
• Excellent communication skills in English

Education and Experience

• Students in their second or third year of University
