Role Overview
This role is in line to the Malta launch of a major EV brand. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and commercially minded automotive Sales professional who has a genuine passion for vehicles and customer engagement. The successful individual will be at the forefront of launching a leading electric vehicle brand newly introduced to the Maltese market.

The role calls for someone who naturally excels in sales environments, enjoys connecting with people, and is confident in guiding customers through a consultative purchasing journey. A strong interest in electric mobility and emerging automotive technologies will be essential, alongside a drive to achieve results and deliver exceptional service at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Deliver a welcoming and tailored experience to all showroom visitors, ensuring each interaction is professional and customer-focused.
  • Needs Assessment & Guidance: Identify customer requirements and provide informed recommendations on suitable electric vehicle models and financial solutions.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging presentations and test drives, clearly communicating the advantages, features, and innovation behind electric mobility.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Enquiry Handling: Manage incoming leads from multiple channels including showroom walk-ins, phone calls, email communications, and digital platforms.
  • Sales Administration: Prepare quotations, complete all necessary documentation, and ensure a seamless transition from sale to vehicle handover.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information using the Company’s CRM systems.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to overall dealership performance.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activity, and product innovations within the electric vehicle sector.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the Business professionally at events, launches, and promotional activities when required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Education: A relevant educational background is considered an asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales or a similar customer-facing sales role is required.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively with a wide range of customers.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Naturally personable with the ability to build trust, rapport, and long-term client relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable using CRM platforms and standard Microsoft Office tools.
  • Organisation: Strong ability to manage multiple leads and enquiries in a structured and efficient manner.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly driven with a proactive approach and a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to identify customer needs and tailor solutions effectively to support the sales process.
