Manager - Quality Assurance

Our client is seeking to recruit a Manager. You will coordinate the Quality Assurance within the Central Data Governance section. You shall ensure a robust data quality environment that drives accurate, consistent and reliable data across the organisation. The job holder will define processes for regular assessment and monitoring of data quality, present data quality reports and support the Central Data Governance section lead in providing effective input to the data strategy and data governance framework.

Duties include: 

• Coordinating activities related to quality assurance carried out by the section
• Ensuring a robust data quality environment that drives accurate, consistent and reliable data.
• Defining processes for regular assessment and monitoring of data quality across data domains.
• Ensuring effective end-to-end performance of continuous monitoring activities focusing on data quality, remediation efforts, documentation, reports and data quality metrics analysis.
• Presenting data quality reports summarizing data quality metrics, issues
• identified and remediation effort for consumption by the Data Council and other fora as required.
• Supporting the Lead in providing effective input to the data strategy, the Data Governance Framework and other data governance artifacts with a view to continuously enhance the Bank's data quality standards.
•  Supporting the Lead in engaging in data-related risk management.
•  Supporting the Lead in identifying knowledge gaps and upskilling requirements across the Bank in Data Quality.
• Supporting the Lead in liaising with relevant stakeholders to participate in activities relating to the identification, assessment, and management of material changes impacting the Data Governance Framework (DGF), data sources, systems, and processes, particularly those impacting RDARR.

Requirements

• Previous proven work experience of five (5) years in Information Management, Data Management, Governance environment or related area, and an MQF Level 6 Award in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
• Candidates must hold Pyhton and SQL experience
