Our client, one of Malta’s leading full-service law firm, is seeking to recruit an experienced practitioner to join its Financial Services Department.
This is a strategic hire aimed at strengthening and further expanding the firm’s Fintech and Financial Regulatory offering. We are looking for a highly motivated practitioner with strong technical expertise and a genuine interest in emerging technologies, financial innovation, and the evolving regulatory landscape including the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and related EU frameworks.
This role is suitable for a senior practitioner seeking to take a leadership role in a growing fintech and regulatory practice.
Responsibilities:

Advising on MFSA licensing, regulatory compliance, prudential requirements, outsourcing arrangements, governance, and ongoing supervisory obligations for:
