Payroll & HR Administrator
We are looking for a Payroll & HR Administrator who will join our HR team and lead the monthly payroll process. Forming an integral part of our HR team, the ideal candidate will also be involved in assisting with the day-to-day HR functions.
- Taking ownership of gathering employee payroll related data and creating system profiles.
- Regularly updating the engagements and terminations on Jobsplus.
- Maintaining and updating employee payroll related records.
- Monitoring the time and attendance system, ensuring data completeness.
- Processing the monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy.
- Assisting where necessary with FSS documentation monthly and end of year.
- Assisting the HR team with work permit renewals.
- Actively contributing to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure efficient Payroll and HR operations.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience processing payroll.
- Be organised and have a sharp eye for detail.
- Have strong communication skills, be able to maintain confidentiality, and be proactive in supporting both employees and the organisation.
- Be knowledgeable of Labor laws, payroll tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Ideally be conversant in both Maltese and English.
Marine Aquatic Limited:
Marine Aquatic Limited, operators of the Malta National Aquarium Complex was set in 2011 with a vision of creating exceptional entertainment and an educational experience for the local public and visiting tourists, whilst also being a leading entity for the preservation of marine life and its environment. The Malta National Aquarium complex is spread over approximately 20,000 square meters and comprises a public aquarium, a public landscaped belvedere at promenade level, a multi-story car park, three catering facilities including a beach club, a merchandise outlet, and a tourist information kiosk. The public aquarium has 51 display tanks with, amongst others, Mediterranean fish, including fish commonly found in Maltese waters together with replicas of historical artifacts that one can find in the seas around the Maltese islands.
All tanks are expertly themed to replicate the underwater environment. Additional features of the public aquarium include a classroom facility, interpretation, touch pools, a temporary exhibition space, veterinary and quarantine facilities, etc.
Enhancing further the standard of the Malta National Aquarium Complex, one can find the legendry Cafe Del Mar from Ibiza for the reef pool area. The Café del Mar will bring a relaxing and entertaining tone in music to the reef area adding to the serenity of the reef area of the complex were every summer, thousands of tourists flock to the café to view the beautiful sunsets and listen to Café Del Mar’s signature chill out music.
