Role Overview
This position plays a key role in supporting the organisation’s people operations across the entire employee journey. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of HR activities, including recruitment coordination, onboarding processes, employee relations support, training administration, and general HR documentation, ensuring smooth and compliant day-to-day HR functioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Records Management: Maintain and update employee documentation and HR databases with a high level of accuracy, ensuring all information remains current and compliant with internal standards.
  • Recruitment Coordination: Assist with hiring activities such as advertising vacancies, reviewing applications, liaising with candidates, and arranging interviews in an efficient and structured manner.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding Support: Facilitate smooth employee entry and exit processes, including induction programmes, orientation activities, and exit administration.
  • Employee Engagement & Development: Help organise staff initiatives, learning opportunities, and engagement activities aimed at strengthening workplace culture and professional growth.
  • HR Administration & Reporting: Prepare and maintain HR-related reports such as attendance summaries, leave tracking, and workforce data analysis, while also supporting policy updates and compliance requirements.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Education: A qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field would be considered an advantage.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an HR or administrative support role is required, ideally within a structured organisational environment.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to interact clearly and professionally with employees and external stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Confident in building positive working relationships across different levels of the organisation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable using HR systems or databases.
  • Organisation: Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to handle HR-related queries and situations with a practical and solution-focused approach.
