Senior Finance Executive

Our client is a pharmaceutical is looking to hire a Senior Finance Executive. The company operates a laboratory testing facility in Malta, importing pharmaceutical products from India for quality testing and analysis. 

Location: south of Malta.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Compile and submit Malta VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, and support foreign VAT reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate secretarial obligations, including annual returns and beneficial ownership filings.
• Support transfer pricing compliance and prepare statistical reports for regulatory authorities.
• Liaise with local and international banks on KYC and compliance matters.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring, forecasting, government grant applications, and finance audits.
• Prepare financial analyses and ad hoc reports to support management decision-making.
• Provide support on finance projects and carry out other duties as required by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Fully qualified ACCA qualification will be considered an asset.
• 2–4 years' experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
