Financial Markets Manager

Our client is seeking to recruit a Manager who will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of strategic initiatives related to financial and market analysis. The role involves monitoring and analysing economic and market developments, both locally and internationally, and assessing their potential impact on the financial services sector.

Duties include: 

• collecting, organising, and interpreting data relating to investment activity, market behaviour, and business trends to support research and strategic decision-making. 
• You will also coordinate surveys and data collection exercises, oversee the management and quality of statistical and economic datasets, and contribute to the development of analytical tools and reporting frameworks
• conducting routine and ad-hoc data analysis, including financial modelling and preparation of datasets for internal and external reporting purposes. 
•  draft and review analytical reports and technical documentation, while also managing the daily activities of assigned projects or team members by providing guidance, reviewing deliverables, and supporting professional development.
• participating in technical meetings at both national and international level and contributing to various initiatives aligned with organisational objectives and operational requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of seven years prior experience is required, preferably within the financial services sector or related fields.
• Experience of working with business intelligence tools, such as MS PowerBI
• Knowledge of programming languages and data analysis packages, such as R, Python or SQL
• Critical and analytical mind-set

Education and Experience

• You will hold qualification at MQF Level 6 or higher in statistics, mathematics, banking and finance, economics or in any other relevant field.
