Project Support & Technical Specialist

We’re looking for a motivated and technically skilled Project Support & Technical Specialist to play a key role in delivering advanced Building Management Systems (BMS) and control solutions across exciting projects.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be involved from project preparation right through to commissioning, troubleshooting, and final handover. You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, clients, and suppliers—helping ensure every system is delivered to the highest standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

Project Delivery & Coordination

• Support the preparation and coordination of BMS projects from design to site delivery
• Work with the Drawing Office to ensure accurate, high-quality site drawings are delivered on time
• Prepare and verify BMS connection schedules, schematics, and device layouts
• Provide practical installation guidance (sensor placement, valve orientation, wiring routes, etc.)
• Coordinate materials, procurement, and equipment release for site works
• Collaborate closely with M&E contractors during installation phases

Control Panels & MCC Systems

• Oversee the design, coordination, and factory testing (FAT) of MCCs and control panels
• Work with suppliers to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery

Commissioning & Project Completion

• Support commissioning, pre-commissioning, and functional testing activities
• Ensure all control points are tested, validated, and signed off correctly
• Review and issue as-built documentation and QA records
• Help standardise labelling, documentation, and handover processes
• Support smooth coordination with site teams during commissioning

Troubleshooting & Field Support

• Respond to system faults, breakdowns, and technical callouts
• Provide hands-on support for diagnostics, configuration, and repairs
• Be part of the team that keeps critical systems running efficiently

Controls & Automation Projects

• Take ownership of smaller automation and standalone control system projects
• Act as a key technical contact for selected clients
• Support quotations, project tracking, and technical proposals

Client Interaction & Commercial Exposure

• Prepare quotations for project support, MCC systems, and controls works
• Communicate confidently with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Attend training, exhibitions, and industry events to stay ahead of innovation

What We’re Looking For

• Electrical technical qualification (or equivalent engineering experience)
• 6–7 years’ experience in BMS, controls, or industrial automation
• Electrical Domestic Installation Licence A
• Strong understanding of BMS systems, wiring, and field devices
• Ability to read and produce schematics, schedules, and technical documentation
• Experience with control panel design or assembly
• High attention to detail and quality standards
