Draughtsperson (Gozo)

Our client is looking for a Draughtsperson to join their Architectural and Civil Engineering practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming concept ideas, preliminary sketches, and draft plans into precise technical drawings and designs for client presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Architect and Civil Engineer in converting concepts, sketches, and preliminary plans into accurate technical drawings for client presentations.
• Conduct site surveys of buildings and land, including photographic documentation and analysis.
• Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD based on site survey information.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of documentation required by the Planning Authority during permit application processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and hard-copy project files in line with company filing procedures.

Requirements:

• Degree, diploma, or certification in Draughting, Technical Drawing, Construction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar draughting role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit within an architectural and civil engineering environment; 2D drafting is essential, while 3D experience is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Relevant technical qualifications are considered advantageous.
• Fluency in English, Maltese is an asset.
