Purpose of the Role
The Commercial Data Executive provides support to suppliers and stores by managing product data, pricing and barcode details, assisting with dispatch and activation, resolving delivery issues and supporting web portal entries, supplier communication and item setup.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier and Delivery Support
•Assist suppliers with pricing details, barcode errors, dispatch group assignments, activation dates and disabled items from Store, PDA or Purchase Orders (PO).
•Guide suppliers through the item-entry process, provide step-by-step support and assist with error messages caused by missing data or benchmarks.
Stores Assistance
•Verify item dispatch groups on the web portal and communicate with suppliers to make the necessary updates.
•Address store-reported pricing discrepancies and PDA issues such as “Item not found” or “Item Disabled” by coordinating with suppliers or Product Managers.
Web Portal Management
•Verify and update new item details, including descriptions, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), measurements, supplier reference codes and related item data.
•Check price changes, barcode changes, item descriptions and categories submitted by suppliers.
•Provide guidance to suppliers on order dates, delivery dates, dispatch groups and essential item information.
•Assist Product Managers in creating and managing new brands.
Fruit and Vegetable, Offers and TCSM Items
•Enter pricing details for Pitkalija fruit and vegetable items and update F&V offers as confirmed by management.
•Set and activate weekly offer codes for F&V items and ensure stores can apply offers correctly.
•Gather data from Product Managers to set up monthly offers, create and test Mix and Match offers, and resolve store-level offer issues.
Other Duties
•Carry out any other tasks as instructed by the Chief Commercial Officer or management according to business requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
•Previous experience in data administration, commercial support, supplier coordination, retail systems or a similar role is considered an advantage.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to work with web portals, ERP systems or product-data platforms.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate product, pricing, barcode and supplier information.
