Scope, Purpose and Objectives
The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and compliance with hotel standards of the Cavalieri Art Hotel, by Radisson Hotels Group. The role acts as the primary point of contact for guests in the absence of senior management, while supporting the Operations Manager in achieving operational objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervise daily hotel operations across front office, housekeeping and guest services.
• Ensure all departments operate efficiently and according to hotel policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house facilities.
• Handle emergency situations, incidents, and guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high guest satisfaction levels.
• Welcome VIP guests and ensure special requests are fulfilled.
• Supervise and support operational staff during shifts.
• Supervise bar operations during evening and closing shifts.
• Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and closing reports.
• Ensure employees comply with grooming, attendance, and service standards.
• Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure hotel safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Coordinate with security, maintenance, and emergency services when required.
