Our client is looking to recruit a Design Project Manager to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:

  • Coordinate design packages, deliverable schedules, and submission requirements across Architecture and Interior Design teams
  • Support project leads with drawing registers, document control, and issue tracking
  • Maintain coordination logs (RFIs, design queries, action trackers, meeting minutes, and transmittals) and follow up with responsible parties to ensure closure
  • Assist in design reviews, mark-ups, and compilation of submission packages for clients and consultants
  • Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and track actions with timely follow-ups
  • Coordinate inputs across disciplines (Interior Design, Architecture, MEP, C&S, Cost and Commercial) to reduce rework and misalignment
  • Facilitate communication between the company, clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers as required
  • Support QA checks for completeness, consistency, drawing standards, naming conventions, and version control
  • Ensure correct templates, title blocks, and project standards are consistently applied
  • Maintain organized project folders and structured filing aligned with document management standards
  • Track deliverables against project programmes and highlight risks or delays early
  • Assist in maintaining scope clarity by recording design changes, client instructions, and key decisions

Requirements

  • Strong organisation skills and confidence managing multiple packages and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with a professional, client-ready approach.
  • Strong attention to detail: document control, versioning, naming, and submission readiness.

Education and Experience

  • Experience in a design coordination role within Architecture, Interior Design, or a multidisciplinary consultancy.
  • Working knowledge of design documentation workflows and coordination across disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with document control systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is an advantage (role dependent).
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the confidence to follow up and drive closure.
