We are looking for a full-time Yachting Operations Administrator to support the smooth running of a yachting services department. The successful candidate will work closely with the department manager and assist with the coordination of administrative and operational activities related to marina and boatyard operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of dry storage and marina operations using relevant digital management systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to vessel storage, movements, and operational activities.
  • Support the processing and administration of work permits for maintenance and repair activities in line with established procedures.
  • Coordinate and monitor the activities of external contractors operating within marina and yard facilities.
  • Ensure contractors adhere to company policies, operational guidelines, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Carry out routine inspections to encourage safe working practices and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Identify and report operational, maintenance, safety, or compliance concerns to the relevant personnel.
  • Prepare and maintain departmental reports, records, and administrative documentation.
  • Assist with additional operational or administrative tasks as required to support the department.

Skills & Experience

  • A qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management, Maritime Studies, or another relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience within the marine, maritime, or yachting sector is a must
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and other digital administration platforms.
  • A good understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices within an operational environment.
