Technical Sales Specialist in Animal Care

Andrews Feeds (Malta) Ltd is looking for a Full-Time Technical Sales Specialist to join our agricultural retail outlet in the Marsa Industrial Area.

Our specialized shop operates directly alongside our established feed mill production facility, providing livestock farmers with a complete range of agricultural equipment, nutritional supplements, and veterinary medicines.

In this role, you will act as a key advisor to our clients, working in a highly professional, multi-disciplinary environment. You will collaborate daily with an expert team that includes an on-site veterinarian, a pharmacist, and dedicated sales professionals to support farm animal production across the Maltese islands.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to farmers on animal husbandry, nutrition, and livestock management.

• Guide customers in selecting the correct equipment, supplements, and over-the-counter animal medicines.

• Bridge shop operations with our feed mill to facilitate custom feed and supplement orders.

• Collaborate closely with the veterinarian and pharmacist to ensure accurate product recommendations.

• Manage retail transactions, maintain shop inventory, and ensure excellent customer service. 

Requirements

• Education: Minimum MQF Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in Animal Management, Agricultural Sciences, or a closely related field.

• Knowledge: Deep understanding of farm animal production, husbandry practices, and livestock health.

• Languages: Fluency in Maltese is required to effectively communicate with local farmers. 

• Skills: Strong teamwork abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.
