Payroll & Finance Clerk

A Maltese business group within the FMCG, are looking for an Payroll & Finance Clerk to join our team and support the day-to-day payroll and finance functions of the Group. This role is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with numbers and maintaining accurate records in a dynamic business environment.

Responsabilities:

• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Maintain employee records and payroll documentation
• Prepare and submit Jobsplus documentation and other statutory reports
• Respond to payroll-related queries from employees
• Assist with the maintenance of accounting records and financial transactions
• Perform bank, supplier, and account reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Provide general administrative and finance support as required

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software is considered an asset
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Fluent in English, and ideally also in Maltese
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, communication skills & ability to handle confidential information
• Previous payroll experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Talexio will be considered an asset

Education and Experience

• Qualification in accounting, finance or payroll is considered an asset, but not a must
