Junior Auditor

We are currently engaged with a prominent Corporate Services Provider in Malta for the recruitment of a Junior Auditor.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate as part of a dynamic team, assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Support the Audit Senior in performing substantive testing and analytical reviews in accordance with established audit standards.
• Assist in preparing working papers and audit documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to gather necessary audit evidence and address audit-related queries.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and development by gaining exposure to various industries and audit methodologies.

Requirements:

• Actively pursuing a qualification in ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Prior exposure to audit or accounting practices is required, particularly within a Maltese regulatory context.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
