We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Internal Audit function as Head of Internal Audit. Reporting to the Chief Officer of Internal Audit, the selected candidate will play a key role in strengthening internal controls and practices, while supporting the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Officer of Internal Audit in developing and executing the annual audit plan.
  • Lead and supervise internal audit assignments, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance processes.
  • Identify control weaknesses and recommend practical, value-adding improvements.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports for Senior Management and the Board of Directors / Audit & Risk Committee.
  • Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of audit methodologies and tools.
  • Act as Deputy to the Chief Officer of Internal Audit when required.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior roles.
  • Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
