Financial Controller

Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their team.

Main Responsibilities :

• Manage the daily operations of the Accounts Department, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all financial activities.
• Supervise and support the accounts team through task allocation, performance management, training, and process improvements.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records in line with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Review financial transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Manage cash flow, banking matters, and financial controls to support business operations.
• Coordinate external audits, prepare required documentation, respond to auditor queries, and ensure timely resolution of findings.
• Prepare management accounts, KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, providing analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support improvements in financial processes and systems.
• Manage insurance-related matters and liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance-related issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience in a senior finance or accounting role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, Shireburn software, and other financial planning and accounting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional financial reports.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (essential).
