APCO Limited is seeking to recruit a Finance Executive responsible for handling multiple functions that support the Company's day-to-day financial activities whilst also assisting with management reporting.
THE POSITION
Based in Malta and reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Executive will be responsible for issuing sales invoices to clients, posting receipts, monitoring and following up on outstanding debtor balances, recording supplier invoices, preparing periodic payment runs, assisting with stock management, and conducting monthly reconciliations.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting in the preparation of management reports, including monthly management accounts, liaising with the Company's auditors, and assisting in the preparation of VAT returns and the fulfilment of other statutory obligations.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure effective financial control, support reporting requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes.

THE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be in the early stages of obtaining, or currently pursuing, a Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification and will possess at least two years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
The selected candidate should have a sound understanding of accounting principles, be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, and demonstrate strong analytical and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Experience working with accounting systems or ERP software will be considered an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, together with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
