Consolidation Officer

Our client is looking for a Consolidations Officer to join their team 

Responsibilities:

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process
• Prepare and post consolidation adjustments, including intercompany eliminations and currency translations
• Review financial data from various entities to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and other applicable reporting standards
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings
• Perform reconciliations and data checks to maintain reporting integrity
• Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing documentation
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting by compiling consolidated financial information
• Work closely with finance teams to ensure consistent and aligned reporting practices

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience with exposure to financial consolidation.
• Good understanding of consolidation accounting principles and IFRS.
• Experience working in a multi-entity or multinational environment is an asset.
• Familiarity with consolidation software and ERP systems is an advantage.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance OR Partly qualified or actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
