Accounts Clerk

Is-Suq Tal-Belt in Malta is looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The selected candidate shall report directly to the Finance Manager. Working Schedule shall be spread over a five-day week from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the processing and posting of supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statements and payments
• Ensuring that all documents are properly and adequately filled
• Ensure that Invoices have the proper authorization for processing
• Preparing payments to suppliers monthly ensuring that payments are affected on a timely basis and as directed by a superior
• Issue cash advances as per instructions received
• Processing purchase orders received from other departments, ensuring they are properly authorized
• Assisting in the preparation of financial information and management accounts as required
• Processing of bank reconciliations
• Processing of interest payable reconciliations
• Other duties as directed from time to time.

Requirements:

• Preference shall be given to candidates with experience in the Catering industry.
