Accountant

Our client is seeking to recruit an Accountant to join a growing construction company. 

Duties include: 

• Maintain full accounting records 
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Prepare cash flow forecasts 
• Monitor company financial performance and profitability
• Assist directors in financial decision-making
• Handle project costing 
• Manage supplier invoice, Subcontractor payments and Payment schedules
• Handling client billing and collections 
• Handling compliance and statutory requirements 
• Improve financial processes and controls

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years local accounting experience
• Experience within the construction industry is required
• Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software
• Fluency in Maltese and English is required
• rong understanding of job costing, cash flow management, and supplier/contractor payments.
