Product Owner

Our client within the Financial Services Industry is looking for an Product Owner for their growing Data Management & Analytics team. This team is primarily responsible for the management of data as an asset from which the company can extract valueable insight and the analysis of data across different domains to support in the compilation of statistic and risk analysis. Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Managing daily tasks such as guiding users through the onboarding process and providing training.
• Monitoring submissions and user access, acting as a point of contact for reporting entities, authorities, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of the register by identifying areas for enhancement, both in terms of processes and technology, and gathering user feedback.
• Maintaining and prioritizing a product backlog that accurately reflects new regulations and user requirements.
• Translating concepts into detailed requirements and collaborate closely with developers in the design and testing of new features.
• Supervising the quality and completeness of data submitted by reporting entities, refining data validation processes, offering guidance, and conducting ad-hoc checks.
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures related to the register are properly documented, regularly updated, and easily accessible to all relevant stakeholders.

• Minimum of 2 years experience working within the regulated sector.
• Familiar with database concepts and queries
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with the relevant EU Directives and related domestic legislation that govern financial services is preferred
•  Experience with data validation, data analysis, requirements analysis, and user acceptance testing is also preferred

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, Financial Services, Auditing, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or similar
