Baker

Ta' Xmun Caterers in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Baker to join their team on a full/part-time basis.

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Baker.
As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods for our customers to enjoy.
You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in the kitchen while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and company standards
• Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing and visually appealing manner
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies
• Ensure all baked goods are of high quality and meet food safety standards
• Collaborate with other team members to develop new and innovative baked goods
• Keep the work area clean and organized at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and fulfilling special orders
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar role
• Knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
• Creativity and attention to detail in decorating and presenting baked goods
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Food safety certification is a plus.
