Saint Martin’s Institute of Higher Education is looking to recruit a full-time Junior Systems Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate would be excellent at problem-solving, have good communication skills, and must have a willingness to learn.


The candidate will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in the management of the IT infrastructure;
  • Troubleshoot network equipment and other hardware;
  • Procure, implement and administer network infrastructure and servers;
  • Administer cloud-based servers;
  • Provide IT related support to the administrative and lecturing staff and students as necessary.


Role Requirements:
  • Advanced IT Diploma or higher qualification (MQF level 5);
  • Willing to learn and do research in relation to the role;
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft servers;
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts;
  • An understanding of hardware and network troubleshooting and software installation.

Training will be provided to the selected candidate, who must be motivated and focused on building a career in System administration and network maintenance.
