Richmond Foundation in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Mental Health Recovery Support Workers
to assist in the maintenance of service. The aim is to support and empower residents to achieve as good a quality of life as possible whilst addressing their mental, physical and personal needs.
The role is to enable each resident to contribute to the service and to promote their capacity for independence within and outside it. They are to participate in the monitoring, evaluation and development of the programme whilst supporting the Mental Health Recovery Officers as requested by the line manager.
Successful applicants must be committed to the social inclusion of persons with mental health problems.
- A diploma/certificate in residential care or a related subject will be given preference
- Work or voluntary experience in the social field will be considered an asset
- Be fluent in spoken and written Maltese and English
- Have their own transport and be in possession of a clean driving licence.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in working with individuals who have substance use problems.
