Richmond Foundation in Malta is currently looking to recruit Mental Health Recovery Officers
to assist in the recovery and rehabilitation of service user on a full-time basis. The Officer will have a caseload and will be acting as a key worker so as to assist allocated service users to formulate and pursue a positive personal development programme with clear, agreed objectives.
Officers are to participate and facilitate groups and programmes that service users would benefit from, as part of their personal and social well-being whilst helping to develop and maintain good working relationships with relevant agencies and to promote greater understanding of the nature of mental health difficulties.
Ideal candidates should be:
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in working with individuals who have substance use problems.
- In possession of a university qualification in one of the caring professions, including Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Mental Health Nursing
- Strongly motivated to help people in a practical and direct way
- A team player
- Able to work under pressure
- Fluent in both Maltese and English.
