Maintenance Technician

One of our clients, a leader in the production and distribution industries in Malta, is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Head of Production.


Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventive maintenance and repair on the company’s production lines as well as on a wide array of plant facilities;
  • Installation and servicing of electrical panels and machines;
  • Providing preventive maintenance on production lines;
  • Perform daily checks on all plant equipment;
  • Handle day-to-day maintenance work throughout the site.



Requirements:

  • Minimum Higher National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
  • Wireman’s Licence A and/or B;
  • A valid driving licence;
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written in English or Maltese;
  • Italian would also be considered an asset.



Skills:

  • Technically oriented, flexible and pro-active;
  • Work on own initiative and as part of a team;
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset.
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
