Sales & Business Development

As the Sales Manager you will be reporting directly to the General Manager while managing the entire function of the Sales Department vis a vis the Sales Team and Client Relationship, while ensuring a smooth operational flow of the department.  Your main duties will include the following:

  • Develop customised sales strategies
  • Compile and analyse sales figures
  • Keeping abreast with the latest business trends / competition / pricing
  • Providing relevant updates on products, prices, procedures and practises to the team
  • Ensure regular meetings are held with the Sales Team
  • Nurture client relationships 
  • Monitor and support with collection of payments 
  • Be involved in interviews, appraisals, training of staff
  • Actively take part in Management meetings
  • Liaise with departments internally as needed

Education and Experience

  • A Degree level of education is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience within in Sales within the Food Industry business is a must.
  • ICT literate
  • Native level of Maltese and professional level of English is a must
  • Must possess a clean driving licence
