E&L Enterprises in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Purchasing Clerk for an immediate employment on a full-time basis to join their team within their Accounts Department Team. This role entails coordination and verbal communication with staff members and suppliers.
Purchasing Clerk's Main Responsibilities:
Check and input of purchase invoices in Sage;
Reconciliation of suppliers statements;
Payments to suppliers;
Prepares purchase orders and maintains purchasing records;
Research and negotiate with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications;
Liaising with suppliers and screening phone calls, inquiries and requests;
Other day-to-day duties according to the exigencies of the team as may be required.
Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail;
Ability to work within a team while building productive working relationships;
Ability to listen actively and to work on own initiative;
Proficient in the use of Sage and Shireburn software;
1-year experience in a similar job would be considered an asset.
