E&L Enterprises in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Purchasing Clerk for an immediate employment on a full-time basis to join their team within their Accounts Department Team. This role entails coordination and verbal communication with staff members and suppliers. 

Purchasing Clerk's Main Responsibilities: 
  • Check and input of purchase invoices in Sage;
  • Reconciliation of suppliers statements;
  • Payments to suppliers;
  • Prepares purchase orders and maintains purchasing records;
  • Research and negotiate with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications;
  • Liaising with suppliers and screening phone calls, inquiries and requests;
  • Other day-to-day duties according to the exigencies of the team as may be required.

  • Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail;
  • Ability to work within a team while building productive working relationships;
  • Ability to listen actively and to work on own initiative;
  • Accounts O-level;
  • Proficient in the use of Sage and Shireburn software;
  • 1-year experience in a similar job would be considered an asset.
