Supply Chain, Transport & Warehousing

A new Purchasing Administrator job is now available within the manufacturing industry. Whilst reporting to the Purchasing Executive, your responsibilities will include:

  • Placing purchase orders for all types of requirements including raw materials
  • Organizing and storing documents, updating records and responding to order issues
  • Updating of records and following up with vendors to check if the order is being processed
  • Attending to any issues with shipments or incorrect orders
  • Building strong relationships with key contacts within these companies
  • Preparing and forwarding invoices, updating databases, filing, and organizing documents for accounts
  • Monitoring of inventory stock
  • Be aware of low supplies and make purchase orders in advance of stock running out
  • Assisting in negotiating material and order costs, and compilng cost reports for invoices

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within the field of Purchasing or Procurement, ideally within the field of manufacturing
  • Degree level of education would be desirable
  • Fluency in Maltese and English

  • Can take initiative to resolve issues when they arise
